Atlantic Ordinate helps people discover local businesses, services, products, and requests. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
- Account information, such as your name, email address, login provider, and profile image when available.
- Business listing information, such as business names, public contact details, locations, hours, products, services, images, and owner-provided listing details.
- Activity information, such as favorites, reviews, listing requests, order or service inquiries, and support messages.
- Technical information, such as IP address, browser type, device information, security logs, and cookies used to keep you signed in.
Google Sign-In
If you choose Google Sign-In, Google may share basic profile information with us, such as your name, email address, email verification status, and profile image. We use that information only to create and secure your Atlantic Ordinate account.
How We Use Information
- To create accounts, authenticate users, and keep sessions secure.
- To show business listings, products, services, reviews, favorites, and customer requests.
- To respond to support requests and important account or listing issues.
- To prevent abuse, fraud, spam, unauthorized access, and misuse of the service.
- To improve reliability, search quality, marketplace coverage, and user experience.
Cookies And Security
We use cookies for authentication, session security, CSRF protection, and short-lived OAuth checks. Authentication cookies are set as HttpOnly where appropriate so they are not readable by frontend JavaScript.
Service Providers
We use trusted service providers to operate the platform, including hosting, database, authentication, storage, email, maps or location utilities, and AI-assisted marketplace features. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services to Atlantic Ordinate.
Public Listings And User Content
Business listing details, public business contact information, product information, images, and reviews may be visible to other users. Do not submit private information in public listing fields unless you want it to be public.
Data Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may share information when needed to operate the service, comply with law, enforce our terms, prevent abuse, protect rights and safety, or complete a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition.
Data Retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal or security needs, resolve disputes, and maintain business records. You may request account deletion by contacting us.
Your Choices
- You can update account and listing information through the app where available.
- You can log out to clear active sessions.
- You can contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or other privacy help.
Children
Atlantic Ordinate is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy as Atlantic Ordinate changes. When we make meaningful updates, we will change the date above.
